At Certification Oceania, we are deeply committed to fostering positive change and enhancing the well-being of our communities. As part of our social responsibility efforts, we proudly support a range of charitable organizations that drive meaningful outcomes in critical areas of life. Our contributions are selected with clear positive outcomes in society in mind, reflecting our values and commitment to creating a better world. We conduct a review each EOFY and allocate donations accordingly.
Charitable Giving
We allocate a minimum of 5% of our annual profits to support the following organizations:

Mental Health
Beyond Blue: Provides vital mental health support and resources, aiding individuals in managing anxiety, depression, and related challenges.
R U OK?: Promotes mental health and encourages open conversations about well-being, especially among our contractors.

Environment
Wildlife Warriors: Dedicated to wildlife conservation, working to protect endangered species and their habitats. Our director has been a lifelong supporter of the Irwin family’s unwavering dedication to Wildlife Conservation.

Improving Healthcare
Children by Choice: Provides essential support and services for individuals facing unplanned pregnancies.
Wishlist Sunshine Coast: Enhances local healthcare facilities and services for the community.
Cancer Council: Funds critical research and support services for those affected by cancer, striving to improve survival rates and quality of life.

Family Support
Redkite: Offers vital assistance and care for children and young people with cancer and their families.
Small Steps for Hannah: Provides support and resources for families affected by domestic and family violence.

Partnership with 1% for the Planet
In addition to our charitable giving, Certification Oceania is a proud partner of 1% for the Planet, a global movement inspiring businesses to support environmental solutions. Through this partnership, we commit 1% of our annual revenue to environmental causes, further reinforcing our dedication to preserving the planet for future generations.

Contingency Plan for Donations
While we strive to meet our 5% donation threshold annually, we recognize that unforeseen circumstances may impact our ability to do so. In the event that we are unable to meet this commitment in any given year, Certification Oceania will implement the following contingency plan:

Pro-Bono Information Sessions: We will offer pro-bono information sessions to individuals and organizations in need, focusing on areas such as mental health, environmental sustainability, and family support. These sessions will be designed to share knowledge, provide resources, and empower participants with actionable insights. This contingency ensures that even in challenging times, we continue to contribute positively to society and uphold our commitment to creating a better world.
